Spent five days hiking around Isle Royale, Lake Superior’s largest island.  The ride on the ferry boat took seven hours to get to our hiking start destination. We still needed to wear our covid masks because it was public transportation. My pack was 45 pounds and Joe’s was the heaviest at 90 pounds! Didn’t get to see a “live” moose but the scenery was astounding and I want to go back- hopefully, I can get Christy to go.
